Modeled after a men’s smoking robe, the Emmit coat is an interplay between modern romance and timeless craftsmanship. Made from plush velvet printed with one of the season’s moody floral motifs—which was first hand-painted in-house by Ralpthth Lauren artists, then reproduced as a print in a renowned Como, Italy, mill—this calf-grazing coat is hand-embellished with hints of hot-fixed beading and finished with a light spray technique for a vintage effect. This refined style features double-faced silk lapels and a fringe-trimmed self-belt that’s intended to be knotted at the waist.
